Military End of Life Issues

Synopsis:

The workshop will provide information to help pastors, Stephens Ministers, counselors, caregivers, families, friends, etc. prepare for and deal with the death of military personnel and veterans.  It will explore differing end of life issues experienced by many soldiers and veterans, as related to their experiences such as:  combat or non-combat experience, duration of war, POW captivity, exposure to mutilated bodies, post traumatic stress, guilt, sexual trauma, exposure to illegal acts, branch of service and rank, and whether they enlisted or were drafted.
