BEING A WATCHMAN…Ezekiel was called to be Israel’s Watchman (Ezekiel 33), warning them with God’s Law and comforting them with His Gospel. Many are justifiably concerned about how the issues close to our heart will fare in the next few years. At the same time we are called to be faithful to God’s Word of Life. (more…)

People cry when they see a dog dying, one just hit by a car on the street
And they cry when they see children starving, when they know we’ve got so much to eat,
And they’ll cry when they hear a soldier’s story, that he give his life to keep us free.
But amidst all the tears that they’re crying, I must ask myself, “Who cries for me?”
I’m the child that no one ever wanted,
I’m the one not allowed to be,
I’m the child the whole world has forgotten
I’m the one who cries, “Who cries for me?”
There are tears for the lost and the lonely and for them a sympathetic ear.
But when one more child’s life is aborted, why is no one there to shed a tear?
Why is one life cherished and exalted, and one life regarded down so low?
Will I always be the long forgotten? Who will cry for me, I’d like to know?
Who will cry for the ones no one wanted?
Who will stand and say, “This should not be!”?
Who will speak for the ones with no voices?
Who will be the one who cries for me?
I’m the child that no one ever wanted,
I’m the one not allowed to be,
I’m the child the whole world has forgotten
I’m the one who cries, “Who cries for me?”
